Friendly pub with accommodation and food. Range of Shep. Neame beers which are always OK but nothing special.

Great place if you like real ale and craft larger which are brewed on the premises. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and good food from lunchtime up until 6pm. Always a good atmosphere.

Friendly staff and customers. Downstairs bar is packed full of locals and tourists. A lively big bar upstairs has load music and large TV screens showing sports. This bar tends to be full of Hen and Stag parties at weekends. The barman tells me they serve the best pint of Guinness in town. It was actually the best pint I had anywhere in my weeks stay in Ulster.

This is one of my locals and I have been using it quite a bit last few months since it was refurbished. I have found the staff friendly, the food is standard pub fare and good value for money (and have not had any of the long wait problems some of the earlier reviews have suffered). The Quiz night is fun, choice of four real ales and lots of screens for the sport. not a bad local.

The Crown, Islington
I recently popped in one lunchtime. Great beer they had local brewery offers apart from the standard Fullers. The food for London prices was good value as well. The landlord told me they had only been there a year so guess different to the review below.
