nice interior, good food even if it is very expensive. sometimes got the impression that me and my friends wern't the clientel (surfers) they were looking for, which found a bit funny in newquay. would not recommend this for drinks as it is extremely expensive, good if you like to drink coctails, as they have a fair few on the menu.

The Bowgie Inn, Crantock Newquay
Lovely pub, bit of a drive from newquay. It has that traditional pub feel to it, great views of beach and sea from the beer garden and lovely views of the setting sun. good traditional pub food. recomend to any one that likes good food and a nice quiet pint.

not a bad pub, bouncers can have a bit of an attitude, very lively, good if you want to dance and party not good if you want a chat. cheapish booze. i am happy to drink here in the day time, but tend to keep away in the evening.

lovely pub, great views over the cliff edge of the sea, good food, bit on the expensive side though, deffinatly recomended for a decent meal, dunno about just a pint or 2 though.

been coming here on and off for 5 years, recently made it my local for friday and saturday nights, good pub, never had any trouble, its not too close to the main strip so not too many p**s heads looking for fights. staff are all very friendly. never eaten here so cant comment but im told its good? beer not the cheapest in romford but reasonable enough. function room upstairs often with live bands, good stuff.

The Royal George, Charing Cross Road
Found this pub a great place to go during the day time/ early evening, it is not too busy, prices are what you expect for west end pubs. note that they stop food at 3pm then start again at 5pm. which left me hungary. haven't ventured there in the night yet, but am planning to soon. staff are friendly and had no wait to get served. they play good music as well.
