The Fox and Hounds Restaurant & Bar, Englefield Green

Lovely location on the edge of Windsor Park. The pub is cosy in the winter and the beer garden is a great setting for spring/summer. Highly recommended. Good choice of ales usually, although service veers between excellent and frustrating. The restaurant is also good, if a bit pricey.

The Swan Hotel, Staines

Lovely pub by the river, especially in the summer when you can sit outside. Well kept ales, friendly staff and good pub grub.

The Almamata, Egham

Better, but still not great. It is still lacking atmosphere. Food looks good though. There is a market for this kind of venue in Egham, so let's hope a bit of fine tuning will see it succeed.

Ye Olde Reindeer, Banbury

Best pub in Banbury bar none. Great beers, lovely people. Thoroughly recommended.

The Crown, Egham

Best of a bad bunch in Egham, and the only place with a decent atmosphere in town. A bit grubby around the edges (especially the loos) and service can be hit-and-miss but you can get a decent pint and its good for the footy.

The Almamata, Egham

They have made an effort with the decking in the back garden, but the whole place still lacks any kind of atmosphere. Beers are served in the wrong branded glasses. I want it to succeed, but signs are not good
