Popped into this pub after a morning walk in the woods. Never been before and we were pleasantly surprised. Nice garden at the back and friendly staff. We decided to have lunch (just sandwiches) and it was all great. We shall return!

Lovely country pub! I say pub, but its more lika a gastro pub. The food is great with a bit of a french twist id say. Some people would probably think its a bit pricey but for what you actually get its really good value. Phil (the chef and owner) does all the cooking himself, from scratch.
They also have a nice garden.

We went for a drive round the country today and just happened to stumble upon this pub just when we got hungry. They were fairly busy when we arrived at the bar but it was no problem for us to get a table for four. All staff were very friendly but the service seemed confused and disorganized. We actually had to go up and ask for cutlery and the bread we ordered before our meal never came. Since we are very nosey (!) we listened in to the other tables, who all were booked in advance. At one point the waitress went up to a table who had been there for a while and ordered and got drinks already (not what they ordered bu the way), to take their food order, not realising that they didn't even have menus yet!
After we finished our meal the waitress cleared two of our plates promptly and then left two of us sitting there with our plates for absolute ages!
The food on the other hand did not match the service at all! It was all delicious! Three of us had roast beef and I must say it was the best beef I've had in ages. It came with five different veg, all lovely, and beutiful gravy. One of my friend had fish and chips and she loved it too.
I probably would come back, but only for the food.

The Station, Horsham
Not really a pub but a great restaurant. Nice food and good service. They have about 6-8 different ales they change around, tend to have at least 3 on at the same time. The Tribute is my favourite. Staff is much better than they have been in the past.
