Popped in yesterday and was shocked by all the women swearing and the children monopolising the games machines. The beer (Mac's Country Best) was nothing to write home about either. AND there was just one poor barman to serve both sides of the pub. Left unimpressed.

The Crown, St Albans
Better than I feared. Had a quite a reasonable pint of Adnams Bitter for �2.30 and there were some reasonable deals on offer for the food. 5 TV screens, quiz night on Thursday and karaoke (ugh) on Friday. Could be worse.
