I think it's all about expectation- as a past winner of best pub in Oxfordshire and more recently South Oxon, you are likely to be a more critical visitor. Always enjoy our visit to The Bear....

I think it did re-open briefly, but it's shut again now- very sad

just been voted CAMRA pub of the year for this area, and I can see why- lovely feel to it, and beautiful pint of Brewers Dark last night

Looks nice enough, but it's hardly ever open, so I guess it's struggling ?

Agreed- can't call it a pub. Foods good- wine a tad pricey

Further to my earlier post, I have now eaten at The Bear, and thoroughly enjoyable it was too. The Beer choice & quality is still very good, and we had a top evening

Great village pub-recently voted PotY by local CAMRA branch.Apparently the food is good too- well worth a visit

The Bear Inn, North Moreton
Used to use this place regularly, but have to say quality of guest ales has slipped a bit-hope it's a blip 'cos it's a nice pub
