The Marquis of Granby, Epsom

I was addicted to this pub but the novelty has worn off.

At first it may appear that this place is cool, laid-back and very 'bo-ho' but I see through the lie.

This pub is a fake and it is a sham/shame.

It is very cunning at its pretence playing cool music and had me convinced for months.

It is one of the better pubs in Epsom but that shows how bad most Epsom pub are.

The Woodman, Ashtead

I live a few minutes around the corner and I used to go here all the time.

I have not been here for months.

It is cold and unwelcoming and the layout is awful. If you talk to someone you don't know, they treat you like a complete stranger.

I could enjoy it with a large number of mates but then again why bother?

The landlord is a total misery and it reeks of clique.

If you are in the clique, you will adore this pub. I am not so this pub sucks 100%.

Penny Black, Leatherhead

This place used to ooze cool and was greatness.

Now it has turned into a trendy wannabe pretentious circus of fools.

It was the best pub in Leatherhead but now it is trash there is no point going to Leatherhead at all unless you like fighting, drinking until you vomit and being served crap booze.

Avoid!

Ye Olde Windsor Castle, Bookham

This pub used to be the centre of the universe until they changed it into a family food type pub.

It had big gardens filled with people from many different places. The place was buzzing.

I just cannot go there now as they managed to completely destroy one of the most happening places ever.

Now there is no point travelling to this place unless you are a family and want that kind of place.

O'Neills, Kingston Upon Thames

This pub is great!

1) Total abundance of great-looking women both sides of the bar - many foreigners from Eastern Europe looking for green card so good/bad depending on your goals.

2) Live 'band' (1 bloke) plays some modern kewl music and many people dance.

3) Layout of this pub forces you to talk to strangers - this is a very nice but sadly rare thing that I had to search for before finding how important pub layout is.

4) Beer is standard issue and relatively pricey but this pushes out losers and slime from the pub - doorman help remove them also.

5) This pub is very close to taxis and many clubs so you can continue your fun after it shuts (pub shuts at 1am at weekend which is great.

All in all I have not found any night out better unless you go clubbing. Babes, live music, good layout, this is so cool.
