Nice beer but couldn't beleive the price of some of the food, 7 quid for a jacket pot and beans!

Had a great time at their quiz night (thursday night at 2030) and the beer was excellent. Really friendly place

Was looking foward to visiting this pub and as the comments suggest the beer is great but the main problem I had was one of the vertically challenged bar staff was consistantly rude to us. Demanding that we shut the door (when it wasnt us that left it open), not saying thankyou, looking fed up when we approached the bar as he had to get off his backside to serve us. If it wasnt for this i would have given it a good review but I think it deserves a 2 only - go to the crumplehorn instead as the beer is just as good and the staff are very friendly.

The Monksbrook, Chandlers Ford
If you class traditional ales as sickly john smiths, worthingtons and caffreys then this is full of traditional ales. If you like quality REAL ales then go somewhere else.
Landlord is a Chuck Booner who tends to prop up the bar on an evening telling stories about aftershave and a hole!?

Nice to see weymouths finest teenagers putting their comments to this establishment
I used to go here in the nineties and everytime i come back to have a little look it is still as cr@p as it always has been. A pretentious would be wine bar where the average bouncer IQ is 1

Pub has recently stopped brewing beer on the premises and the beer quality has sunk to very poor levels. Not recommended

The Jolly Sailor, West Looe
Been here twice after walking from polperro and on both occasions was very good beer and an oasis for a weary walker
