| I go to Weymouth every year and have not been in this place since 2001 when I was on exercise in nearby Wyke Regis. Us squaddies piled in to the place back then and had an excellent evening with a very good live band. Needless to say we had sunk a fair few on our way to the place and were ever so slightly merry once there. Alas that was some time ago now and wife and child have put paid to such merryment. | Dirty toilets, knackered carpet (particularly after a so-called refurb), staff doing the food had a 'computer says no' attitude when it came to making minor alterations to our kids choices, and finally my daughter was told to get off the raised bit in the middle for 'health and safety' reasons when pictures on the webiste clearly show people on it when the pub is busy.
