This used to be such a great place great service, good food yet a little over priced. used to go there every sunday and even on the odd occasion during the week.. the new manager is starting to bring it back into the pub so many of us now and loved but there still seems to be problems especially on the kitchen side. Lets give it time. i agree with goldeneye though (feb 22/07) AD was great for the pub always happy and always there where the hell has he gone!

pubs ok, but when i asked for Lime in my drink barmaid told me she didn't have any even tho there were loads behind her, when i said this to her, she said they were just for display & they weren't allowed to use them

now under new management by a real landlord just been painted aswell well worth a visit

How can a pub go down hill so quickly 6 months ago it was one of the best places to go in Southampton, now its a shit hole with rude staff, rude manager if you can call him that, crap or no beer. I wouldn't go back if you paid me
