I used go in this pub all the time but i haven't had time to go back. When i was there the bar staff are all really friendly, i walked in there not knowing anyone but walked out knowing nearly everyone. Food is superb especially on a sunday (carvery) if you dont like something they would see if they had something you did like. very nice to take the parents into. All they could do to make it a little better is to have different music playing in the background.

only visited the pub once, but had a really good night. the best night to visit the pub would be on a friday, as the music is good and the atmosphere is good.

Always go in there with the S.K its a fantastic pub every one is friendly in there.

I'm very sorry to here about these comments, i've been going in there for a long time and i haven't really had any problems apart from the fact that there is one bar staff that never smiles, unless your young, free and single she will smile for you. All other bar staff are hard working and are always smiling. As for the music yes it can be abit loud but the reason for that is that it always busy in there. The social side of the bridge is good you can walk in there a stranger but come out as a friend.

I really dont like this pub after breaking my arm they had no first aider there, no one looking after outside (lots of glasses outside on tables). went back there for some food and ordered an extra portion of chips, when the food arived they were no sign of our chips when asked the waitress where they were she went into the kitchen to find out, when we over heard the head chief shout they didnt order any. (which we did as it was on our bill and we had to pay for them) when we got our chips they were cold so asked for some more which they said no it was our fault they were cold.
Won't be going back there in a hurry!
