The Watershed, Wimbledon

I hav to say I never really ventured down this end of Wimbledon, but took a trip down on a Thursday and was shocked to find a live music night. They hold comedy in the back room on the weekends but it is really geared for live music, and it didn't dissapoint. There were 3 bands on who were all very good and the Dj in the front room was okay as well. The clincher for me was that all the drinks were �1.50, and consequently the place was packed with loads of attractive student types. Fantastic, definately recommend this place on a Thursday!

Jim Thompson's, Wimbledon

I hate the place but gave it a 10 - why - the best pint of Guiness extra cold you will get in the area is served here.
Unfortunately it is teaming with the plague which is spreading like wildfire through sw19 - saffa's. I mean for god sake it is an oriental themed place and it advertises all the sout africa day.
Good apart from the saffa's
Also the food is microwaved and the prices a con

Hideaway, South Wimbledon

Sorry there is no way I could go past this and leave it with a 10. Sorry "nothing like it in London" - nothing this bland perhaps, I mean for god sakes this place is soooo dull and is extraordinarily overpriced for somewhere that is next to a tramstop to Croydon. I can only assume Julio either owns the place or works there - "nothing like it in London" - what a ridiculuos thing to say....
