oh dear...its sad to see.....yes the new owner has made the place look nice and yes the food is better.....but has totally lost all atmosphere since karl left!!
he has banned dogs and boaters!!madness!!!he will have to have an amazing summer to get thro the winter!!went in twice in the last 2 weeks and place is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so sad to see as the new owner is a nice bloke!should of done his research a bit better tho me-thinks!!before putting money into it!!

since karl and Sam took over at the start of Nov 2010 its brilliant....they get on with everyone(unlike the last landlord!!)and Karl is a dab hand in the kitchen also....I tried his tai green cuury last week and was gorgeous!!
Yes the place is looking a bit tired but having a re-furb in a few months so I'm told.
the food menu is very good, it's now clean!!
really happy my local has re-opend....couldnt of hand picked two better people 4 the job if I handpicked them myself!!!!long live the LION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
