The John Bull Inn, Alnwick

This is something else. A real old fashioned pub, with proper beer. Do yourself a favour, call in.

Full of teenagers getting drunk and fighting. Food is pretty good though.

The Turks Head, Rothbury

This is a proper pub ! Visit in the winter and warm by the open fire. Or in the summer and chill out in the massive beer garden. I live in the village and have drank here for years. A cosy, friendly pub, good beer. simple food, and Barbara the barmaid, useless but fun.
First choice in Rothbury, keep my local going !
