Larry 1976 you are so right, awful drunken saffa fest. It is a shame that this place is crawling with morons as it would be nice for there to be a lively, busy pub in the area. During the day, or the week, the place is amicable. It boasts a lovely big garden and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately the over rowdy idiots it attracts on the weekend makes The Puzzle a definite no no for most of the people I know in the area.

The only reason me, or anyone else I know used to go here was that it was open late and now they've started charging!! No thanks.

The Earl of Spencer, Southfields
Rubbish pub. This pub is completely devoid of atmosphere. The drinks and the food are over priced, especially due to the lack of anything interesting or entertaining about the place. The customers are mainly mothers with babies, self obsessed adults and couples. The food is not as good as it should be for the price and you are made to feel un-comfortable when only drinking. There is no wonder that this place is never usually busy. I would recommend going to The Gardeners next door for a relaxing and friendly PUB instead of some kind of canteen.

Excellent pub. The refurbishment has done wonders and has turned this run down local pub into a local treasure. This pub offers a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere and is perfect for any age group. I have not sampled what's on offer in the food stakes as of yet but understand it is thoroughly good 'pub grub'. The Gardeners succeeded where others fall and managed to remain a real pub and for that a tip my hat and would highly recommend a visit to anyone (even if i would like to keep it for myself!).

The Grid Inn, Southfields
I walked past a few moths ago to find the Replingham Road partly cordoned off, police everywhere and blood and glass on the tarmac. I don't think there's any need to say much more.
