Closed and re-opened as Jaks. Then closed again and is now called Murphys. Only open in the evening.

Pretty roomy pub - quite laid back. Only negative is the food - some silly prices for mediocre food.

Massive change in focus at this pub, from former good food destination to a pub very welcoming for children. Large well looked after garden at back with lots of plastic cars/bikes for kids. Sorry but focus too skewed. Feels a bit like a nursery with a bar attached.

V nice sandwich and chips. Excellent bar staff. friendly, liberal not typical TW. Recommended.

The Foresters Arms, Tunbridge Wells
staff drinking behind the bar, chairs that feel like they might topple, a general feeling of dirt. a bit scarey, really.

friendly staff and they now do food, which is freshly prepared and not bad to boot. A great big dark wooden-ey pub.

now called the Bedford again. Not changed much inside though.

The King Creole, Tunbridge Wells
now closed. The above Sid Wright is the bloke who ran it, which makes ratings a bit pointless.....
