The Hartland Quay Hotel (Wreckers Bar), Hartland
Jaw dropping scenery and a grat pub as well we stayed here for three days and loved it, a good place to come for a few days to clear the head.

Not so much a pub but more of a pikey storage area. Unless you are decked out in Burberry or Kappa and don't mind drinking beer watered down with the barmans own piss then do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
Grubby piss-weak excuse for a pub, bring back the Firkin

Nice little place with a huge array of booze and the most jaw droppingly awesome fry up that god could hath bestowed upon any pub in Christendom.

Probably the best location for any pub I have ever seen, perfect in summer. Though would someone please tell me why, WHY did they feel the need to gut and refurbish this place a year or two ago? They turned it from a traditional old pub with worn old beams and stone floors into another tiled, polished wood bar. Yes it's still a very nice place to go but it's unforgiveable what they did to it. Who ever was responsible for it deserves a hefty kick up the arse. Another nice old country pub ruined to fit more arses on seats. Sad.

You know exactly what this place is going to be like before you even get in the door, another bloody Irish chain pub. They also have a real problem with 'hattitude' in here, my mate was chucked out for wearing a baseball cap that said Koh samui on it. Daft bastards.

Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford
This is a quality proper drinkers pub, music isn't too loud so you can chat huge selection of beers etc and good staff. This is how pubs should be.

I love this pub, been coming here for years and years. When in here ask for the chicken, cheese, crack pepper and mayonnaise sandwich on toasted white bread. The ultimate in pub grub. Great place

Top notch pub this one, the pint of cider they do in here is about as potent as they come, 3 pints and you will be bouncing off walls on the way home. Nice low ceilings, friendly staff and brilliant braziers outside in winter.

Grim, grim, grim pub.
Worst pub in Oxford by miles.
If you want a decent pub stay away from george street, bloody faux pubs and townie central. Much better off going to Jericho or Cowley road.

Filthy McNasty's II, Twickenham
Had a quality day in here after the world cup, went absolutely apeshit. Pub was abslolutely manky but made up for it in atmosphere.

The Trout Inn, Wolvercote
What they have done to this pub over the past 5 years is borderline criminal. Nobody, not one person I have spoken to in Oxford has appreciated the changes that have been made to the Trout yet they went ahead anyway. This is cultural rape of the highest order.
