The Golden Lion, Aldershot

Went into this pub for the first time yesterday 13/08/2005 between 12:15 to about 5:30. I have always had a dislike of Aldershot as I am a Farnborough man!
I did however like this pub, good landlord, friendly staff and a babe of a barmaid with long black hair.
Good atmosphere and good food as well.
I liked this pub and will go again sometime.

The Alexandra, Farnborough

This pub is areal boozer! Smoking at the bar and talking to staff still not banned here! However no real babes to see in this pub, young girls come in at times. The Alex is going through a quiet stage at the moment, probably people were sick of the never ending Irish music and crap food. We will see a revival im sure.

The Old Courthouse, Cove

Not a bad pub but too many old people, its like an olod peoples home at times.

The Thatched Cottage, Farnborough

I used this pub alot last year, but no more. The landlord does not mingle with the regulars and just thinks of profit. No lock ins ever, no frindly drinks with customers, no tv for sports, no pool table but food is good. Used to be full on the weekends but quite empty now. A real shame as this pub was good.
