This is such a nice Pub and the Landlord and Landlady always give you a warm welcome ! I feel the 2.50 Menu is the best in value for miles ! And just go and see for yourself ! Just go in and see for yourself !! quinboy66 - 9 Jul 2012 20:13 |
As others have noted, this pub offers a polite welcome, bargain grub and well-kept Pride. Definitely Aldershot, not Aldershit. Uncle_Dunkel - 29 Nov 2011 17:27 |
We were Inverness fans on a tour of the south of england for a week. as you can imagine we seen a few pubs in that time. The Golden lion was/is the most welcoming pub we were in. In fact, for those ICT fans there, the Golden Lion is now favorite CaleyAway day. Joe and Kaye were brilliant hosts. The barmaid on Friday was good caic, funny and good with punters. Didn't have any food but seen it being served and looked awesome. Joe IS a Legend. batleyboy - 18 Jul 2011 22:26 |
Like others, popped in on the way/to footy. Welcoming place, only Pride bitter but well kept. Was karaoke that evening and gets busy but worth the effort. Cheap and filling food. Better than others in the area. sirlunchalot - 28 Feb 2011 18:55 |
A pleasant and welcoming pub with good bar staff. Only one real ale (London Pride) but kept in good condition, the place to go if you want to watch darts on the TV. When they have a local league darts match in the pub the price of a pint drops by 50 pence. beershot - 4 Jan 2011 13:15 |
