Ate there once,unfortunately we had bad service too, the food was ok
Yes and your not the first one to mention the landlord (as below).
Still, its a nice pub that has a bit of charm left unlike those disgusting chain type places (The Crown) or wine bar look alikes (The Lamb)..... be grateful!
Does get really very busy at times so be warned if you want a seat!

Yep, bad very, very bad. Smelly old hole. Poor old pub don't think it stands a chance really.

The Lamb Inn, Winkton

The Lamb WAS a nice local pub run for the locals.
Seems to be attracting some unsavoury people these days, looking for trouble.Shame.
There is the odd poor soul carrying on in a bid to redeem a "local relaxing feel".
The bar staff change on a weekly basis another unnatractive feature and a strange coral/pink decor chosen I assume by someone who is colour blind.

However, if you require a good meal and a fresh clean place to be, in a wine bar type atmosphere then give it a go Darling!! Ok... yar!
