went here for the first time last sunday. had lunch, pretty reasonable 11 and the food was lovely. tucked away so mainly locals i think. would definitely go back when i was in the area. looked good for summer drinking with a patio out the front.

Spend alot of time in tis pub! It joins the fulhamites and the claphmites together. great in the summer with the garden, bbq and river view and great in the winter with the fire, the food is good but pricey, i think. i wouldnt recommend it for a quiet one as it is pretty much always busy.but have had lots of fun nights here in the last few years.

The Royal Standard, Wandsworth
Love this pub. Its small and unpretentious. You can order take out to eat in which is novelty and it has a nitendo Wii which is pretty sweet! recently taken over by new managers, seem ok if a little stand-offish. hope they dont mess with it too much as it is perfect the way it is!

The Churchill Arms, Kensington
this pub is the fu*%ing nuts and the landlord is a legend!y fave pub in london for sure! I live in clapham but consider this my local.i don't drink a huge amount of bitter but they seem to have a fair amount on tap. the lager is well kept and plentiful! the thai food is wicked and cheap. its an oasis of countryside charm in central(ish) london!i would reccomend it to anyone! only problem is that it does get rammed but that just means you have to get there earlier, no bad thing.

Checked it out for Sunday lunch. A little dissapointed to be honest. It felt a little confused, was it a pub, was it a restaurant?
The service wasnt great, pretty rude to be honest. Our mains arrived before our starters. then they tried to offer the same mains once we had finished our starters i sent mine back but it took alot of explanation.
In fairness once all that had been sorted the food was nice. And it is reasonably priced at 8.50 for the roast the only thing i would say is that the gravy was a little like tar...but some people like their gravy thick i guess...
Would I go back, not if that guy was still working there!
