Used to be a good old traditional boozer. Now a soulless hell-hole for yuppies. OK if that's your bag. For me, never again. marksamujels - 17 Nov 2010 01:33 |
This is a really nice pub to go to on a sunday in the summer where you can sit outisde in the garden area at the back and enjoy a quiet afternoon. The food was always really interesting and worth the price. However, apparently the place is under new management and the menu's been changed to the borning pie, mash, roast menu that you can get anywhere. I haven't been since the change so I can't comment on the food any longer but if you live in north London and want a nice pub to relax in, it serves that purpose well. If it's too cold to go outside though, there aren't that many tables inside and it's more of a gastropub than a place to sit and drink so I'd head to one of the other pubs around. catfitz - 10 Apr 2010 13:28 |

I am the daughter of PATRICK MORRIS (composer, musicion), who died last year. He was found dead in his house in 2a Southwoodlane on 16. Jan. 2008. The circumstances are rather suspicious and anyone who knew him and can tell me anything about when they saw him last and how he was found and who found him. Please, please inform me. I am living abroad and will come to London soon. Grateful for any information and links. Emma- Serena [email protected] EMMASERENA - 7 Jan 2009 11:44 |
