Used to be a very good pub this, in fact it was my local, and always had a good and varied selection of real ales. Sadly, is now a shadow of it's former self and has been completely ruined. Current owners have turned it into a "New Town" pub and is now frequented by a bunch of rough necks. As for the beer, don't bother, try the Red Lion up the road, it serves a far better pint.

Marvellous pub, full of mountaineering types and friendly locals, great beer of course, friendly staff, good food, great location, well worth the drive up from Glenbrittle campsite after a day in the Cuillins! Wonderful!

The Red Lion Inn, Litton
Nice pub, good beer, shame about the landlady. Went in for a lunchtime pint, very nice it was too. The menu looked tempting so reserved a table for 7pm that evening. Upon arriving, we were rudely informed by the landlady that it was not her policy to reserve tables for just two persons but as we had booked she felt she had no choice but to set aside a table for us. We then had to wait an hour for our meal. Definately not recommended.
