Very nice place, not too real 'aley' and friendly. Has a billiards (sp?) table. Nice for a quieter pint, maybe with the missus.

Nice pub, real local feel and great pints. Bloody good darts team when I was watching last night as well!

Yep, amazing place, CAMRA pub of year for this year (IOM obv.). Loads of different bitters, low prices, no front and when sat outside on a hot summer's day....brilliant

Pretty sure this has now closed and re-opened as something else, but I haven't been to St Albans for a while now.
Used to be an amazing place though

Nice start to a crawl, down the road from the train station, massive place. Decent food and has a pool table

Went in once seemed very local and hardcore, groups of 40+ blokes getting hammered, swearing fighting etc. Great atmosphere, has a pool table

Good for eyeing up ladies. Very expensive and poor range of drinks, but has a pool table (not fri/sat) and dj is excellent

Incredible place, mix of ages and livelyhoods, standing at the bar next to a model and an old irish soak etc. Not as much trouble as there used to be but gets too busy and loud later on - Seanie the manager is a legend

Excellent place, one of my favourites, seems massive, I get lost on the way back from the toilets, or am I really that drunk?

Quite a big place, decent jukebox for younger people (I am a student), bar staff very friendly, but dodgy pints
