2.60 a pint of Pride served by staff whose mind must have been on another planet, no atmostphere and had to listened to a lot of swearing from two customers which obviously did'nt bother the young lady behind the bar. "i shall not return" as someone once said. beer was not up to Fuller's standard

what a lovely place to have a drink in, the staff were very welcoming and the beer was great (slightly cold but after a minute was perfection)and a full range of Fuller's ales. the pub/hotel was spotless.i shall certainly return here when next in the area, might even book a room for a week-end

pub and staff not very welcoming not even a hello!and i found the music too loud for a dinnertime session. and they only had London Pride on all the pumps which was very disapointing for a Fuller's pub

this is a gem and the landlady, Zena, is like an etheral being so wonderful to talk to she makes you feel good and of course the titanic is served to perfection by Zena who always has a word for everybody who enters. a step back in time to the good old days. a pub like it should be it has several rooms and if the doors are locked in any of Zena will open the for you so you can sit quietly and have a pint with your thoughts. there is usually a couple of guest ales as well as the titanics as well as a mild
