Travellers Joy, Rayleigh

To be honest bit reluctant to say this because I dont want everyone to come to this pub, which probably tells me how much I enjoy going there, forget the boring stuff about being served. I have been drinking now for over 10 years this pub has been total transformed in the last 18 months by Bobby and everyone whos worked with him has done a fantasic job. To be honest the locals can be a bit rowdy but to be honest all the locals want to do is have some fun and enjoy there night, if you want a quite pub go somewhere else if you want meet a lot of nice people go to this pub, great staff make a pub this is how it should be done

The Spread Eagle, Rayleigh

This is an old school pub as well which I really like, the staff are very good even when it is busy, never seen any problems in this pub ever, good door staff, if you go would suggest it to a brush nite alternative have live acts on saturday as rule which can be hit and miss and have good crowd for football on staurdays and sundays, very good pub, dont have a bad word about it, open until 1am on weekends so cheaper option than brush and just as fun

This is an old school pub, which has been on a bit of an up and down time in recent years, it has always had great service, but it could do with just simple things like a good clean but what pub couldn't, to be honest thats a small grumble the beer is really good and the staff are in general quite nice, you get a good mixture of age groups and no doubt you can have a good nite or few beers here with no problems although it can be a bit quite at times

To be honest its a wetherspoons cheap beer miserable staff, main problem is its too busy and staff dont care mind you if you were working on a saturday for minimum wage would you be happy to be honest not the worst not the best. Good thing is the real ales thats good fun trying all different types but at the end of the day its cheap and not the best not the worst. Probably the worst thing is the townies who try to look cool in a weatherspoons is that possible I think not

The Half Moon, Rayleigh

To be honest this pub is a bit like wallpaper paste, you need wallpaper paste to keep your wallpaper on the wall. Is that intrseting of course not, much like the pub, its nothing amazing but like wallpaper paste it stops your wallpaper of the floor.
