The Blue Anchor, Lincoln

It is sad to see this pub so empty but it is over priced and I feel it will not give the return on capital. It has to change in 2006 or it will close down.
It's live bands on Sunday do fill the Pub but it can't sell enough beer to pay for the entertainment.

Watch this space, see if I'm right

Strugglers Inn, Lincoln

Great Staff, great fun and my wife likes it. Proper pub in the old sense. Landlord appears blunt (but he is a Geordie) in fact very welcoming when you understand his style.Excellent beer, with beer festival in winter, BBQ in summer on Sundays, and excellent lunch. The other great about this pub is you may be talking to the MD or the teaboy, whoever all are great.
Try it more than once it grows on you.
And oh yes it is small.Thank God for the covered garden

The staff are a delight, friendly and so much more intelligent to talk to, than the average customer.
they offer care in the community with customers spending the day ,drinking & eating. Great for pensioners on limited budgets and they open early for breakfast be it food or alcohol. A great all rounder.

But please can the food ALWAYS come out hot
