I agee with Shaft and midnightpoolchampion wnt in her about a month ago. Thre ar some weird fcukers in here. Look like thy have a bottl of meths between pints. Services is crap as well. Beer was very cheap but with cheap beer u attract scum like this.

Went in this pub a month ago and really liked it. Beer was kept clean, services was friendly and quick and people in pub were up for a chat.

I quite liked this pub. The service was good and its got a fantastic view of the river.

Visited this pub on Saturday. Did not like this venue. Service was not goodand it lacked athmosphere.

Pretty average sort of pub. �3.50 a pint. Not sort of place I would stay in, its one for passing through.

The Railway Telegraph, Forest Hill
Quite good atmosphere in this pub when I visited a few weeks ago. Only thing is I am not keen on SHepherds neame beers so the score could be higher if you like orgranboom etc.

Shame this pub has closed. You could always be gauranteed a good athmosphere in here.

This place has gone down hill. Went in and the pool table had been taken away with the customers.

The Place House Tavern, Catford
This pub has now closed. A shame really because used to have a good time drinking there.

Cleanest pint ive had in the area the beer is obviously weel kept. Friendly staff as well.

Used to use this pub when I worked in Croydon and had a leaving do there. It is definitely the best pub in Croydon. Nice relaxed athmosphere friendly locals and friendly owner.

If this pub is still like it was a year ago it deserves 10 out of 10. I used to go there all the time to watch the football and have a drink after going to the Den MMMMMMMIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL good competition on the pool table and beer is cheap. The place has an atmosphere where it is easy to talk to people.

Just putting this in so that you have some refernce to it. The larger is nice in there which is important as in the Rutland tastes like they do not wash the pumps at all. Good place if you live locally but can not see why you would go there if you did not

The Red Deer, South Croydon
I was last in here a couple of months ago quite liked the place. Not the best beer you will get but the clientele is friendly as are the staff. Its an excllent pub to watch sports in.
