To Mr Anonymous, i couldnt give a toss what coniwots or anyone else saw there!! I didn't see it so how do i know its not a load of crap!?
I had a great time and thats all I was trying to say.
I wasn't trying to move anything on, if I saw someone bullying a foreign barmaid I'd call him a c+nt to his face. Which by the way I would also call you.

At long last our search is over!
We have found the best pub in London! What a wonderful place, like an aladdins cave of history and memorabilia. A good old fashioned pub in the heart of london. This is a wonderful place with wonderful staff, the landlord is indeed quite unique!!
I can't speak highly enough about this place. It's very low key and peaceful, a great place to hide and get away from it all. it takes you to a time before mobiles, ipods and indeed probably a time before the wheel was invented! But that's the beauty of it, this pub is timeless. Long may it remain so!! 10 out of 10.

The Horse and Groom, Belgravia
Great pub to sit outside on an unusually warm late September evening. The landlors was great, as were the free sandwiches. Good atmosphere and a lovely setting. It's an oasis, like you were a million miles from the grot and tat of Victoria station!
We always have a great time there.

The Polish barmaids were lovely, the darker one with curly hair was gorgeous , both to look at and in personality.
Lovely pub, with an amzing flower arrangement outside!
Great service and the landlord was very friendly to us. Beautiful place in a lovely area. Nice decor and the alcohol isn't bad either. It gets the thumbs up!

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street
I love Sam Smith's pubs so that was a good start! The beer was great and the place is just as brilliant as I thought it was going to be. Atmosphere, charm and history by the bucketload!!! What an amazing pub, possibly the best in London in my humble opinion. I give it a 10.

Nice pub, with a genuine Irish feel, in spite of the lack of any Irish staff. The Guinness wasn't the best but it's still a good place and I'd certainly go again.

Went there last night, expecting toe woest but I was pleasantly surprised. Quaint pub in a beautiful location. Quite romantic actually. Beer was good and the staff were friendly.

Great pub, spent many lunchtimes in here when i was working in Clive House which is next door. Very cosy and dark but can get crowded very quickly.
Lovely pub in a nice location.

Remarkable bar!
What Canons Park(and the whole of Harrow!) has been crying out for for years, a classy place where you can experience tip top service, good food/drinks in a very relaxed chilled out environment, brilliantly decorated yet homely bar.
It reminds me of the kind of place you'd get in the coolest parts of Oslo or Stockholm, yet it still maintains an Irish flavour:-)
Give it a try!!

One of the worst pub's in the area, zero atmosphere or character. Go elsewhere.

Agree totally with the previous writer.
Cosy bar, good quality drink, excellent service, good atmosphere. A little corner of County Offaly in Stanmore!!
Excellent place!

Agree with the last post about the "rock-biters", but as Wetherspoons go, this is one of the best. Nice atmosphere, no trouble, all round a great pub. Stanmore is a really nice place and this place is well worth a visit.
Only downsides are the amount of time it takes to get served-even if there is only two peolpe waiting at the bar you can wait ten minutes!- and the sad decline in the amount of beautiful Czech and Slovak au pairs who once frequented this place...many wonderful nights were had in there.....
