Went in for a couple of pints with some friends the other evening. Nice relxed atmosphere and a friendly crowd. Love the cosy feel of the open fire.

The pub is now called the Bloated Mallard and is really nice. Good work.

The Teddington Arms, Teddington
I went in there on thurs 29th Nov and watched as the bar staff couldn't handle a busy period and started smashing glasses behind the bar and kicking the kitchen door open.
I felt sorry for the chefs who were dealing with the situation really well and getting loads of food orders out quickly.

Lovely place. Really cosy with a good atmosphere. Whenever I go it has have a really nice crowd in. They've updated the pub without ruining the charm.
Only comment would be the guvnors need to keep an eye on the bar. I have found myself waiting too long while they chat to their mates on the punters side of the bar.

Am really looking forward to visiting the Buliders again. It has new management and by the looks of things is getting long overdue investment. This is a back-street pub with so much potential.
The problems I mentioned in my 7th July post have now passed.
Charlie C - I live in Field Lane and it was a horrible month in the summer. That bunch of kids RULED the roost. The previous management was impotent/refused to act. Nick did NOTHING until we (the immeadiate residents) got the Police, MP's, Councillors, Licensing Authority involved. Sorry if you knew Nick, but he wasn't doing his job. Plain as that.

The Park Lodge Hotel, Teddington
This place is nice and comfy. Good spot for a few glasses of plonk.
There is a comedy waitress who is so so rude and miserable it's unbelievable.
The bar area toilets are a disgrace. They are too small and too smelly. The staff do not clean/go near them during opening hours.

This is one of the best pubs in Teddington. The Landlord trucks no crap from yobs or kids. As long as you behave you are welcome. The staff are efficient and numerous - good work. Fantastic grub too.
There is a petite, brunette barmaid who is just divine.

This place is great in the week - dartboard, pool, music with a relaxed atmosphere.
However, the Landlord has lost control at the weekends. Large mobs of unruly teenagers take over - it's very noisy and then at closing time there are running battles in the road outside.

This pub attracts the worst kind of people. Every friday and saturday evening there are drunks urinating, shouting and fighting right outside. They then spill across the high street into residential streets. Anyone who challenges this is a liar - it happened at 11.40pm on friday 6th July 2007.
The current owners/landlords are incapable of controlling any of their clients.
It gets worse - groups of drunk, tatooed, middle-aged men sit out the front leering at and cat-calling towards eleven year old school girls.
I used to drink in the Kings Arms and it was a charming pub with a friendly crowd and professional staff. The owners should be ASHAMED.

The Park Lodge Hotel, Teddington
Went in last night. I didn't order any food because the new menu is so expensive. �10.75 for a burger and chips? This is crazy, there is no justification for such prices. I won't be going in here again.
