Moon On The Square, Northampton
I like it apart from they never have summer fruits Kopparberg at weekends. I'd suggest buying some more of that.

I like this place. You can have a lunch date in the day when it's quiet and come back on a Friday night when it's buzing. They now stock Kopparberg which is fantastic. Not as good as Moon on the Square.

Pretty average I'd say, what you'd expect from a chain pub. Not as busy as other chains on a night out. Could only stay for 2 drinks max.

Cheap doubles keeps me going there although they always ID before entry and at the bar again. Too busy at weekends.

The Sixfields - Hungry Horse, Northampton
Only used to sink a few pints before Cobblers and a meal on the odd occasion. Packed on Saturdays for obvious reasons. Does what I expect it to. Average.

Not a bad joint, only been once and that was after it was done up. Good pint of Kronenbourg and the outside smoking area is nicely heated.

In reply to spawny: Northampton is in the Midlands and you're complaining at 2.50 a pint. Are you cheap yourself then? Used to come here every Sunday after work and have a couple of pints and a packet of scampi fries. Love the place, nice atmosphere. Probably my favourite boozer to date.

I can't remember much of my visit and I was sick in the toilet. Didn't like the atmosphere.

The Brampton Halt, Chapel Brampton
Very popular with a lot of people nowadays. Been there once and was quite impressed.

The most popular of the pubs overall, not for me. Two bars: one for the oldies and one for the rowdy lot. Also a restaurant but never dined there.

The worst of the village 3 in my opinion, the place is a dive with the younger chavs of the village frequenting the place.

The Coach and Horses, Brixworth
Used to be my 'local' when I turned 18; I much prefer it to the other 2 pubs down the road either due to the clientelle or the setting of The George and The Red Lion at ay given time. Bar area usually very quiet, see a few regulars most nights. Restaurant serves nice food but need to update their menu as I think it's been the same for nigh on 10 years and in that time the pub has changed management. A sturdy 7/10.

Went in last night and going back tonight for the Hatton fight. Not a bad little place.
