Went in last night and going back tonight for the Hatton fight. Not a bad little place. Wilkinson - 8 Dec 2007 14:35 |
The exterior has just been painted black, the interior is still tobacco stained though. Music of the country and western Irish free brigade is on most weekends. It has a "pub garden" for smoking and hitting children but most patrons prefer the narrow pavement. No food that I know of. The clientele are are criminals professional gamblers or insane or any mixture thereof. A pub for locals. Silentio - 24 Sep 2007 00:10 |
Dreadful place. Dull and dirty. anonymous - 13 Jun 2007 07:33 |
Went in on a Saturday night. I didn't expect what i experienced. It was quiet with a couple of young white chavs and some pensioners. The actual pub is a very nice one! Love It! No refurbishment has been made. Thank God! Maja - 4 Aug 2006 22:58 |
Not as bad as post below suggests. Scores points for being opposite Peckham Manze's pie & mash shop, friendly enough staff and live music. Loses some of them due to the fact that you do have to watch yourself a bit as, even though it's quite busy, non-regular faces are noticed. Also, like most pubs on the high street, beer is keg only. pablos13 - 5 Jul 2006 00:10 |
