Tiny Irish pub with Victoriana fireplace, original tiling and period pub furniture. Cask Tribute at 2.10 a pint. No food but lots of smaoke. You'll either love it or hate it.

Excellent real ale, food and atmosphere. Open all day. Huge coal fire.

The Olde Ship Hotel, Seahouses
Pub heaven. Half pub half maritime museum. Lashings of real ale, local rum and a huge whisky selection. Real food made from scratch on the premises and sourced from local family suppliers.

Only pub (as opposed to hotel bar) in idyllic coastal village. Real ales, including Pedigee and Bass on tap. Cracking good atmosphere and a perfect place to waste an afternoon. Food daytime and evening. Huge beer garden. Nothing bad to say really.

Rating seems a bit mean since it is a real ale oasis and has a good, friendly atmosphere. Customers can be a bit up themselves but it is a Home Counties market town.

If this pub were a car it would be a Ford Focus. Worth it for the steaks and curries, but watch out for the pond life that slurp there all day.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Family friendly, but still a traditional local. Serves cracking good Deuchars IPA all the time. Great cheap food in the afternoons. Best pub in Luton.

The Windmill Inn, Luton
Cosy traditional pub with cracking good Deuchars IPA and Fullers London Pride. Thai run with cheap English and Thai food. Perfect for a lunch or early dinner. A gem near what used to be Vauxhall
