The Village Inn, Shanklin

Very nice people, very friendly atmosphere, and average prices. Took us in during a downpour and didnt moan once about the kids! Lovely food and will defo be going again.

King Harry's Bar (Glenbrook Hotel), Shanklin

Lovely place, crap customer service. I was at the bar trying to order food at 2.10pm and they refused to let me order because they stopped serving at 2.30pm. Really rude and unhelpful so we went to the crab instead and had a lovely time. Beautiful surroundings and a nice choice of booze, but staff training needs updating.

My family and I felt really welcome in here, it's a beautiful place with nice food and lovely friendly staff. Was a bit annoyed that had to order food seperately but i can live with that!
Will defo be going back asap when money permits another holiday - instead will be content with my print of the pub on the wall! lol

O'Neills, Reading

I love this place, sorry - know its very sad, but i do. Yes its really busy and can wait for ages to get served, the stairs are a nightmare when you've had a bit to much to drink, but it's my favourite place in Reding by far! Used to be a manager of Brannigans a few years ago and I have never once seen the trouble in here that we got weekly in there!
Well worth a visit, even if you do know the playlist inside out!
