The William Morris, Merton Abbey Mills
Been coming here on and off for a while now but on my most recent visit I noticed that this place is improving rapidly. There seemed to be a much better class of customer in here and it was refreshing to come across friendly staff who knew what they were doing! Hats off to the landlord!

Kettering's best by a long way! Great party atmosphere with a good selection of drinks including an excellent cocktail list. Would recommend.

A great location now the sun's here with two outside areas so you can always sit in the sun. Given it's in the heart of the west end, it wasn't over-priced and the food platters in the evening are supberb.

Charming little pub on Greek Street with clean interior and a welcoming atmosphere. Great selection of real ales and tasty food menu.

Loving the garden here in the good weather. A stones throw away from the tube with little else to impress in the area. Can't fault the service and the beer's well kept.

I loved this place. I think I was here a few years ago and wasn't impressed, but this time I found the staff to be welcoming and a good atmosphere ensured a few pints too many! Recommended

Metro Bar and Canteen, Holloway
I use this place a lot and I don't think you'll find a better place in this area. The staff are friendly, the foods OK and best of all it seems to be the only place on Holloway Road thats not full of undesirables.

Does what is says on the tin. Chilled out and comfortable. Few undesirables in and the smelliest toilets in the world!

Went here to watch the football last night. Tried to order food at the bar and was told to wait for the waiter. Half sn hour later, I worked out who the waiter was and walked to him to place my order 20 minutes later I got my food just in time for the 2nd half!

Had a very enjoyable visit on Sunday. Table service is good, but staff have potential to be a little over-whelming. Lovely garden and a big screen for the footy. If only they'd had someone working on the back bar, I might have seen the goals!

Great to be able to see the chef cooking your pizza. Had a really nice meal and a good pint while watching the rugby. Stayed far too long!

Don't know if it's new owners or not, but wow! What a difference! Amazing new look - totally original. Was packed on Saturday night but I was served within 10 mins. We had a great night there. Worth going just to check out the lights on the ceiling!

The Angel and Crown, Leicester Square
Suprised to see comment from Beer Barn. I ate there on Friday night in the restaurant upstairs and was impressed by the welcoming attitude of the staff. Was very busy in there but our food came within 15 mins. Great for a quick meal before the theatre.

The Essex Serpent, Covent Garden
Suprised to see the comments below. I've been using this place as a meeting place for a couple of years now and never had a problem with the food or the service. In fact, the Portugeuse steak is to die for!
