Since the management change and spruce up I have visited this pub regularly. The decor is vastly improved and the new larger dining room is regularly busy. The owners and bar staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Importantly the beer on tap is in excellent condition, Hall and Woodhouses' Badger beers. The wine selection is good and very quaff able.
The food is of excellent quality, the menu is pretty traditional English pub fayre and there's always a range of specials on. I can guarantee you will not leave hungry!

A good pub with nice beer, the selection of pies on the menu looked good too, sadly I'd just eaten.
Good atmosphere, well worth a visit.
Not sure what day FattusBlokus visited but when I visited there was a polish barman who served everyone at the bar and a blonde haired guy who stood behind the bar contemplating his navel for an hour.
Will definitely be back to try out the pies and search for the heavenly landlady.

Definitely one of the best pubs in Twickenham, always a good pint of bitter/ale on tap, many more in bottle form. Very welcoming and definitely has that country pub appeal. Customers range in age from young to old, and Burberry free, you're more likely to see Barbour.
If you're doing a pub crawl in Twickenham and love good beer then I suggest you start here, go to the Fox, come back here and repeat untill you can't walk.

When a pub called Reunion Jaques re-brands it's self and the best the owners can come up with is Crystalz you know they're wanna be 60's pimps.
If you're looking for leopard patterned velour clad middle aged women or short baldng men in white suits, cream slip-ons and medallions this is the place. Otherwise, best keep away!

A pub of 2 halves, one side for sitting and drinking, the other for drinking, playing pool (4 tables), table football, quiz machines and pinball.
A nice place with good beer, not eaten here so can't comment on the food. The staff are always friendly.
The Patch, club upstairs is Twickenham's equivalent of Richmond's Park Avenue, pure cheese! Entertaining non-the-less.
They run a good system on rugby days so you don't go thirsty, not a bad walk to the stadium from here either.

Excellent pub on rugby days, assuming you're going to the game.
Otherwise, smokey and a regular's bar.

The Misty Moon...
...quite an appropriate name really, open the door, you can't see the bar for the fog that greets you, unless you're 2' tall, in which case I apologise.
Full of the elderly and the odd person who walked in accidentally and is trying to find the door out.

It's a Lloyds No.1 pub.
You get exactly what you expect.

On the whole a very nice, comfortable pub for sociable, relaxing drink, good beers (especially Sleeman's Honey Brown), a good selection of wines too. Excellent for meeting people, being able to sit down ant talk to each other without having to shout from 2 feet apart.
The food is typical over priced town pub fayre.
Atmosphere spoiled on Friday/Saturday evenings by music turned up to 11 on the amp.
Part of a chain with the Marlborough in Richmond and another nearby which I forget the name of at the moment.

An excellent pub, in my opinion the best in the area.
The beer selection if great and well delivered. The food is varied, well presented and expertly prepared, there is a good menu, summer and winter, also a specials board.
The staff are welcoming and helpful.
What more could you need from a pub?

The Talbot Inn, Cuckfield
The Talbot is a pub of two halves, downstairs has had a makeover and is quite pleasant to sit in and drink beer these days, upstairs is the large TV and games room with darts and pool. There is a smaller TV downstairs also.
The bar selection is good, though I find some of the Dark Star beers a little like treacle, the Harveys is good.
Food is reasonable.
In winter there's a nice roaring log fire to keep you warm whilst reading the Sunday paper.
