The Welloe Rock Inn / Sand Bar, Praa Sands

Couple of changes to report. No longer offers Sharps ales, but has replaced with St Austell Brewery. Two beers on offer, Tribute, and Sandhopper, which is unique to this pub. Also no longer does the nightclub think on Saturdays.

The Ship Inn, Mousehole

Aaaaah - Mousehole! Probably my favourite pub in the world. Visit most weeks, and it makes the heart leap.

The Dolphin, Penzance

Pub has just changed from a managed house to a tenancy. New Guvnor seems OK. No changes to the pub itself, but the menu's changed. Food still good, and they still do the sizzling steak & stilton (unbeatable - you can feel your arteries clogging as you eat it!)

Falmouth Packet Inn, Penzance

Great pub unless you have children, dogs, or want a drink before 7.00pm. Atmosphere is non-existent and the best thing I can say about this pub is that once you realise that you really don't want to be there, if you travel about a mile along the road towards Helston you will come to the Coach and Horses.

Harbour Inn, Porthleven

Idyllic harbourside location. Full range of St Austell Brewery beers. Spoilt somewhat by the recent refurbishment that did away with the old, traditional look and replaced it with modern sofas & coffee tables. However, if you didn't know it before, you'll probably like it.

The Welloe Rock Inn / Sand Bar, Praa Sands

Pub on the beach at Praa Sands, Stunning beach & sea views. Raised patio area outside when the weather is OK. Generally has two Sharps ales on offer which vary from time to time, although Doom Bar, Sharps Own and Wills Resolve are regulars. Children & dog friendly (free doggie nibbles on the bar). Mixed clientel, including dog walkers, surfers, and holiday makers. Good food lunchtimes and evenings. Real fire. Occasional Sunday afternoon live music, and Saturday nights after ten it turns into a nightclub. Great pub for just sitting and watching the tide come in.
