lovely pub...warm, cosy and great in mid-week if you get a seat. best in hornchurch, rest just wrong!

J J Moons, Hornchurch

I at first thought....mmmmmm, old, smelly...no music.
But after the initial shock you realise its very easy going, not pretentious and certainly not fancy. Lovely pub with really good food for the price. Weekends are banged out but still good and nice staff to boot.

The Sandmartin, Chafford Hundred

I and most of my friends in Chafford think this is the rough pub. Everyone i know has had an experience in there of rough laddish behaviour. Me and my boyfriend had to endure x6 oldish guys being virbally cruel to a young girl in there about her hair.

sticky carpets/tables, clicky and bad atmosphere!

The Treacle Mine, Grays

ok...used to be lovely but gone down hill a bit. Landlord is rude and the barmaids have alot of attitude. Failing that never had a bad meal in there - food is good if you are lucky to get a table!

Wattenden Arms, Kenley

i liked this pub....tucked away and quite decieving for the size. Our dad is handicapped and luckily we had no problem getting table. Very airy and lovely staff - dinner was traditional pub grub, but very enjoyable. Overall a top pub which gave us all a lovely afternoon out.
