| "Not a family friendly pub "Smithy, really, shedloads of ankle biters running around inside and out....! Good beers on, TT Landlord, boltmakers and Abbott, so not so bad. The landlady seems clued up on the states of the beers as well. | Topsy turvy beer garden, nothing for the kids. It claims it's a family friendly pub; it's not! New staff are sarcky and haven't got a clue. Land lady is definitely scrimping on the basics, and the food is not worth the money. The local area really needs a gastro pub, with a nice beer garden, kids play area, inviting decor, modern toilets and FRIENDLY, professional staff ...don't think The Sandmartin deliver on any if these at the moment. | I've just moved into the area and started drinking at the Sandmartin and never seen any trouble, all the bar staff are very friendly and are quick to serve you.
