A wetherspoons that plays music? wow! A typical wetherspoons that has all the trimmings you would normally expect, decent food, great range of drinks and even a family area down the back for the kiddies to eat. Gets very busy here on a weekend as it is right in the middle of 2 very popular areas to drink in Leeds, the civic quarter and Boar lane. Give it a try.

Known locally as "The chav cafe" the lure of stella, budweiser and large screen sports is a magnet for furry chinned, lacoste loving lads from all over Leeds. Keeps them in one place i guess.
Decent range of drinks as you would expect but can be a little on the pricey side.

Leeds Brewery pub that is a very nice, albeit cramped venue to enjoy a few pints of the local brewerys fine ales. Just dont wear anything resembling sportswear or the mobile toting doorstaff will bar you entry. Maybe not such a bad thing.............

Chain pub fayre as standard. Friendly staff decent range of ciders, beers and lagers as standard and a rather robust menu for those looking for a bite to eat or something to placate the kids after a game of bowling.

Fantastic little bar that gets full during the summer days due to it having one of the smallest river facing sun terrace known to man.

Right, do you like Sam Smith's? Yes? Then you will love this place. It's a little ragged around the edges for sure but dont let that put you off. Friendly bar staff and a few local "characters" will make you fit right in. Brilliant during summer with a large oft packed beer garden/patio this is the perfect cheap pub to while away a few hours.
You dont like Sam Smith's pubs?................. erm........ uh......... Its right next door to The Ship Inn so you dont have to walk far.

Whitelocks, Leeds
Hmm, this place used to be one of the best real ale pubs in Leeds but really is struggling to justify its lofty ambitions. Once renowned for top notch food and top notch ales this place has taken a battering recently due to a lack of investment which really is a shame as most folk will have fond memories of this typical "loiner" pub.
As mentioned this pub is very small and space can be very hard to find to sit down.
