Pink and Lily, Princes Risborough

This was a great pub not been in there since the refurb. I do find it odd that people feel inclined to sign up to this web site and rave about the place. It was never a tired old boozer.
Anyone care to mention the new beer and food prices? I've heard they are expensive.

Very good selection of ales and a wide range on the menu.
The Brook room is best if you have a small group, the hoop on a string game is in there too.
A couple of open fires.
Dogs allowed in too.

The Whip Inn, Lacey Green

I cant believe I am the first to mention this pub.
If you like real ale and good then this is the pub for you, there are 5 hand pumps for guest ales and the selection is always changing, over 400 different ales served at the bar last year. The ales are always in top condition as the Landlord Nick is a dedicated follower in the art of keeping cask conditioned ale.
The pub also holds 2 real ale festivals a year one in May and one in October where you have the choice of over 20 ales.
The restaurant is spacious and the bar cosy there is always good conversation between the punters. Rugby is popular here as Wasps play a few miles away so you can catch any games on sky, footy is also shown.
A great selection of pub grub and it does get busy at lunchtimes and weekends.
The beer garden is great in the summer, its right next to the windmill at Lacey Green and has a good view of the countryside.
Lots of good walks nearby too, dogs welcome.

The Red Lion, Whiteleaf

I spend a lot of time here, good in summer and winter. Nice open fire, good ale's sometimes do Hobgoblin, friendly staff, bbq's in summer, dogs welcome. Best food is at weekends when there are lots of specials on.

The Lions of Bledlow, Bledlow

I have to agree about the comments about the staff, most are impolite at best.
I've been server off beer and told "its real ale its supposed to taste like that", I know my beers, shame they don't.

I've heard it may have been taken over, can anyone confirm?
