Visited this pub the other week whilst visiting family. The beer Batemans XXXB suffered from the pub's usual problem of being flat. Someone should explain to the landlord when to change the soft spile for a hard spile !

Three real ales that never change. Stroud Brewery Budding, Butcombe Bitter and Courage Director's. Beer isn't keep very well with 1 in 3 pints in good condition. The best beer is Budding but more often than not isn't available. Food expensive and of dubious quality. This is my local but I tend to get in the car and drive to the Red Lion in Cricklade for a decent pint.

Visited this pub this lunchtime on our way back from Lechlade. Asked for a pint of Hazy Days from their onsite brewery. Was given a short measure with about 1cm head, I asked for a topup but was told that it was a lined glass (which it turned out not to be!) The manageress reluctantly topped up the pint and but slammed the pint down on the bar spilling the beer so she had to top it up again so we walked out and left.
Avoid this pub until they sack this stroppy woman.
