Manager (Head barman) always makes you welcome, the odd member of staff needs to invest in a personality though. Quite expensive unless you have a resident's discount card.

Very expensive pub for both food and beer but always nice!

Nicely priced food, well kept Stella! Shame Carl's left, I thought he instilled alot of professionalism and pride in what he did, but fingers crossed the standards may remain.

Was good at one point in time, but has turned into a bit of a soup kitchen!

Arguably the worst pub in Crewe. Sunday's are like a student's union gathering (but with the kids running everywhere). Vert short expensive dashes of coke etc!

Very tidy pub. Good staff. Wish they'd let kids in to eat though.

Really gone down the pan since we lost poor old Phil the ex landlord.

One of the most friendly pubs in the country (if you can get a seat).

Planned chaos springs to mind, very young staff, some with chips on their shoulders! Not the edible chips.

Looks like it's just been taken over. Really nice cheap food and tidy bar.

The Old Red Lion, Holmes Chapel
Last time I was there was December 08. Pretty good. Friendly staff, but don't allow kids in (some kids are well behaved you know).

Paul, who runs the place is very good. Food has improved vastly since they took over. San Miguel on draught!

The Wheatsheaf Hotel, Sandbach
Not been in for a good few months, butr seems alot better since the last people took it over. Good food but could serve longer (I'm sure they stop serving at 1830 hrs).

Always clean. Landlord has eyes like a hawk. Always very good Stella. Very cheap food if you can't be bothered cooking.

The Plough, Alsager
Nice management, very friendly but the two for one deal's not very generous (very tiny portions and achef like Brian the Snail he's slow slow).
