Good comfortable pub with friendly staff. Food is very good, the menu doesn't appear to change from one month to the next. So we ain't going to go again...sorry.

The Whole Hog, Malmesbury

Enjoyable pub and beer. Just sit in the window, drink your pint and watch the Malmesbury world go by:)

The Potting Shed Pub, Crudwell

Went here quite a few times over the last couple of years. Nice cosy pub, Buttcombe was very good, so was the food. Well it was until the last time I dined there, the triple cooked chips were very brown dry and hard while the burger has so much blood dripping from it I pondered on whether to send it back to the kitchen or call an ambulance.

The White Hart, Castle Cary

Just passing through, so I called in for some food and a pint. Both were fine, but the White Hart appears to be the home of quite a few blue flies. All of which decided to have a go at my ploughmans. Eating food while trying to stop a dozen or so blue flies landing on my food wasn't my idea of a good pub experience.
When the flies are at rest, they hang out on the dartboard. Planning their next sorty no doubt!
