| I have been to over 5000 thousand pubs with my wife travelling the length and breadth of the country by train and bus so we pretty much know what to expect in a new place. However whilst we of course expect the odd glance of "who the hell are they" this had to have been the worse experience ever from the locals, even the barman looked at us funny and tried to walk off as we came in. | I was staying in Castle Cary for a weekend recently and went to the White Hart two evenings. Good beer, friendly staff and some great local characters, my friend also had Sunday lunch there and said it was very good and excellent value. Hope to visit again. rickxlcr - 24 Sep 2013 15:20 |
