If im being honest this place isn't good its just another pub that try's to justify charging over 3 for a pint just because they have a menu and a few bottles of wine on selection. It always looks emty in there when I go past, personally I'd rather go to the Boston Arms across the road and have a nice cheap drink with a good bunch of people rather than pay out my nose to drink with a bunch of people with their head up their arses.

The Lion and Unicorn, Kentish Town
Used to be my local and was a great pub before the change of managment. Reasonable prices and always a good laugh. Very welcoming and you could always find a friendly face in there. But the new managment have driven out the regulars that made the pub what it is by being unfriendly, unreasonable and generally making it not a fun place to be. I play for the pool team on a Monday and i find myself not wanting to go. Any pub managment that treats their regulars that badly shouldn't be allowed to be in charge. Bring back Nick and Jane!

This is my local boozer im in there basically every day and all weekend and is the best pub in London. You find yourself getting caught up in some great sessions here and it hassen't given in to the gastro pub take over. It has cheap drinks and the people in there are quality. I agree with some comments if your not a local and you dont know any one in there try another boozer. The fights just add to the atmosphere. The staff are top quality too.
Its everything you want from a boozer sport, darts, pool, kareoke What more can you ask for. In fact im gonna pop in there now and have a nice cheap pint and a beef and tomato roll. Lovely

The Drum and Monkey, Archway
Went in there last night for the first time to book a party for my mates girlfriend (we only planned to be in there for 5 minutes) but ended up going and watching the comedy night upstairs which was very funny. Niall the Govenor of the pub is a top bloke he brought me and my mate a pint and a shot and we ended up sitting and chatting and drinking with him until half 1 this morning having a top laugh. I now have a severe hangover at work but it was well worth it one of the best nights out in a long time. Im going to make a point of going up there more . Its a little gem in Archways crown.
