The Adam and Eve Tavern, Lincoln

A great pub. It still hasn't quite found it's identity but is pushing the real ales and has recently got its Cask Marque. Simple pub fare presented nicely and very helpful bar staff. Come here on a hot day and make use of the garden or a cold night round the fires.

The Lion and Snake, Lincoln

If you want another chain feeling pub with garden peas served with everything and the usual , "whose next" bar maids and lager, smooth and cider, Stowells on tap, then you'll love it here. If you want atmosphere, good real ale and home cooking go elsewhere. Sharon and Tracy would love this pub. If you use the Bailgate as a warm up for the beers in LN2 or Walkabout here's your place.

with reference to the comment below, if you're looking for a restaurant with a small bar this is excellent. It is expensive but it's not the Sam Smith's pub that you worked in in 1979, it is not a pub. It's open at 8:00am for breakfast and serves food till 11:00pm, it's a restaurant! Agree about the wine though

The Magna Carta, Lincoln

If you're a local and fancy a good quality pint in a quiet friendly pub DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Unfriendly, dirty and the beer glasses smelt of sick so haven't cleaned the lines in ages, had to walk past all the staff standing the entrance fagging and then tutting cause I might want serving!
