Nice olde worlde pub near Hampton Court station. Friendly, quiet - and it''s an Ember Inn which means reliable food and cheap pints, though not a particularly varied selection of the latter. Trev - 2 Sep 2017 09:46 |
Bit rougher around the edges than you would expect for this part of the world. I liked it. Very good pint of Exmoor Silver Stallion. Photos and story at http://bit.ly/2a2SnEC Mappiman - 17 Jul 2016 12:51 |
Been there few times now for the Sunday Roast, found the staff friendly and helpful. Been busy when I've been in there, and everyone around seemed very happy with the food. Ordered the roast and got a nice plateful was very well cooked and great value for money. Even though was busy didn't have to wait to long either. johnven1 - 14 Jan 2016 20:52 |
I have visited this pub regularly for over 6 years and positives are: reasonable pricing and that the locals frequent it en masse. One constant negative is the surly unfriendly bar staff, its as if it is passed it on to every new member of staff like a badge. CheshireCheese - 7 Jan 2015 19:19 |
Our experience couldn't have been more different during an afternoon visit. The service was excellent, a good choice of micro brewery beers and around £3 a pint. There were no objectionables present. I guess we were lucky and we will definitely go back. Steamer1 - 9 Dec 2014 10:40 |
