A gem in an otherwise pub-free area. Friendly staff, good beers (of all kinds) but Greene King IPA and Abbot always a treat. Some good guest ales too. Really good food as well.

Always a bit reticent of going a pub with loads of England flags outside, though found out later they're there to promote the 6 Nations so fair enough!

Not a bad selection of ales at all, and Speckled Hen on tap which was a nice touch. A good sized pub and very busy for a Thursday evening thanks to the football and the pub quiz.

This area is a bit of a desert for pubs so good to see a decent boozer.

Large pub that seems to be a mix of family and locals, beer I had was Wimbledon Brewery Tower which was very nice. Does Sunday roasts and bowls of chips, that kind of thing.

Not a very nice pub I found it to be a very clicky pub with most of the regulars from the Emma Hamilton pub which used to be just along the road, the bar staff are not at all friendly and almost seem not to want to serve you. There appears to be a drug connection going on,on some nights which is not acceptable wont be using this for a meeting place in the future.

As a local I have to say that since the new landlord (Autumn 2013?) has taken over that
things have drastically gone done hill- the new menu, while looking
fancier involved a decease in the food quality, the old friendly staff have been replaced
by snickering, rude and unhelpful ones, the kitchen has become unreliable with
Simple things like a portion of chips taking an hour to arrive or food just never arriving.
Any complaint on any point involves the staff shrugging shoulders unwilling or unable to
help.

Unfortunately we like most of our neighbours won't be darkening this pubs door
again.
