The Manor has been totally turned around the last year. It has an excellent atmosphere. It is a beautiful building with glorious gardens and a good size car park. The Sunday carvery is all freshly cooked and there is a choice of 4 meats and you can have as many potatoes and veg as required - it is all home made too which is a bonus - It is good value for money - at £6 per head. They also do a good selection of 2 for 1 meals on a Wednesay to a Saturday which are very tasty. I have attended a couple of outdoor events there which are very family orientated - I spoke to one couple who had their wedding there and they were really pleased with it and couldn't speak highly enough. If there is one place you should go this Summer - it is definitely the manor dtucke02 - 8 May 2013 10:26 |
After hearing good local feedback, we decided to give the Penllwyn Manor a try and we were so glad we did! We went for a family meal for my son's birthday and it was delicious, the standard of food was exceptional compared to anywhere else in the area, you really should give it a try. Since being taken over in 2009 it has improved so much, a friendly, good quality and good value place to eat, the beer was good too and cheap! Thanks again, we'll be over for Sunday lunch soon...
